Capital Community Partners is a network of neighbors, organizations and businesses, leveraging resources for resurgent riverfront communities to connect people and instill lasting improvements.

 

Capital Community Partners (formerly Near Southeast Community Partners) was founded to serve an unmet need in the evolving Navy Yard community. We partner with other organizations and local businesses to: make the Anacostia swimmable & fishable; improve the environment; work with our local DCPS schools; provide learning opportunities for those who live, work, play, and govern in the Near Southeast community; and facilitate opportunities for diverse neighbors to connect and engage.

The local Near Southeast/Navy Yard community needed an organization to serve local needs as well as to manage, distribute and oversee corporate and other organizational contributions. The CCP Board has decades of experience and is the perfect conduit for this purpose.
